What We Serve

What kind of ice cream do you serve?

We sell pre-packaged novelty ice cream. You can check out the Ice Cream tab on our website for a sample of what we typically carry—availability may vary based on our distributors. ​

Do you have sugar-free or allergy-friendly items?

We usually carry gluten-free and dairy-free options.
If sugar-free treats are needed, we can provide a few options. However, these are not kept in regular stock—so if you'd like them at your event, you’ll need to purchase a full case, and we’ll gladly bring them along!

Booking & Scheduling

How do I book the ice cream truck?
Easy! Just fill out the request form on our Contact page. We usually reply within 48 hours—be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder in case we sneak in there!

Is there a way for me to check if a date/time is available before filling out the form?

Yep - In fact, we appreciate it if you do! Visit our Calendar page for a peek at upcoming events. It doesn’t show every single booking (we like to keep some surprises!), but it’s a great way to get a general idea before you fill out the form. If your date looks open—go for it!

 

How far in advance should I book?
We open up booking each year in March for new customers, and our returning customers get early access for larger events starting in January.
Heads up: We don’t book into the following calendar year—one season at a time!

 

Is a deposit required?
Depending on your event size, we may require a deposit to lock it in. We’ll let you know when you reach out.

 

How long do you stick around?
That depends on the crowd! Most events run between 30 to 90 minutes—we stay until everyone’s treated or your time is up!

 

Can I request specific treats?
Totally! Let us know your favorites and we’ll do our best to stock them—just remember, availability can vary.

 

Can I change my booking after I confirm?
Life happens—we get it! Just give us as much notice as humanly possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes to time, guest count, or location.

 

Can I book multiple visits or recurring events?
Absolutely! We love repeat visits—think summer camps, school weeks, or themed events. Let’s make it a thing!

 

Payment & Pricing

When is payment due?
Before we roll away! Payment is due on or before your event day, and must be completed before service ends unless we’ve arranged something different in writing.

What payment methods do you accept?
We’re flexible! Cash, credit cards, Venmo, and business checks (with prior okay) are all accepted.

​

Do you charge for travel?
Events more than 10 miles from Gray, Maine may include a travel fee. Reach out and we’ll give you a heads-up if it applies.

 

Is gratuity included?
Nope—but it’s certainly always appreciated if you think we added a little extra joy to your day!

What if I have to cancel?
Let us know as soon as possible! If you cancel less than 7 days before your event, there may be a cancellation fee. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a new date (based on availability and the same calendar year).

Is there a minimum number of guests or spending amount?
Our smallest package for 2025 is $129, which includes 20 prepackaged treats and up to 30 minutes of service—or until all guests are served, whichever comes first. That price applies to locations within 10 miles of Gray, Maine.

​

What if I have more guests than planned?

We always bring extra stock just in case! If more people show up than expected, we’ll keep serving until your prepaid amount runs out—or you can authorize additional charges on the spot.

 

Event Types & Custom Options

What kind of events do you do?
So many! Birthdays, weddings, corporate gigs, school events, summer camps, fairs, festivals, senior/assisted living communities, random Tuesdays —you name it. We’ve even brought the sweetness to celebration of life events. It’s always an honor to be part of meaningful moments.

Do you do school or camp visits?
Yes, yes, yes! We’re licensed, insured, and love working with kids. Bonus points if we can play our jingle.

Can you help with fundraisers?
Absolutely! We love supporting great causes. Let’s chat about how we can scoop up support together.

​

Do you offer prepaid or voucher options?
Yes! You can pay in advance for a set number of treats or hand out vouchers or tickets for guests to redeem—it’s totally up to you. We love it when customers get creative and make their own custom tickets—it adds to the fun!

Do you do neighborhood routes?
We sure do—and they’re some of our favorite things to do! We love cruising through neighborhoods in Gray, Cumberland, and Falmouth, spreading smiles and watching the kids grow up. We can’t guarantee specific days of the week (events pop up fast!), but we’ll make the rounds as time allows. Keep an ear out for our jingle—we just might be coming your way!

Logistics & Setup

How much space do you need?
Our truck is a Nissan NV2500 with a rooftop AC unit, so we need about 25 feet long, 10 feet tall, and 8 feet wide—plus a reasonably flat and safe spot to park and serve.

Do you need access to water or electricity?

Nope! We’re completely self-contained. No cords, no hoses—just smiles and treats wherever we roll in.

​

Do I need a permit?
If your event is at a park, beach, or public spot, you’re in charge of checking with the town or city about permits. Private locations typically don’t need one.

​

Will you play music?
Only if you want us to! We’ve got that classic ice cream truck jingle ready to roll—but we’ll keep it quiet unless you ask for it.

 

Do you provide napkins or trash bins?
We’ve got you covered with napkins, spoons, and straws where needed. We do ask that hosts handle trash collection and disposal.

Policies & Other Things to Know

What if fewer people show up than expected?

No problem—but please note we do not offer refunds for lower-than-expected attendance. Any leftover treats are yours to keep, share, or donate to our Pay It Forward program. If you plan to take the extras with you, just let us know ahead of time so we can have them packed up before your scheduled end time—we won’t be able to stay late.

What if it rains?
Rain or shine, we show up! If weather is dangerous or the setup won’t work, we’ll do our best to reschedule.

​

Can you take photos at my event?
We love capturing sweet memories! We may take a few pics for our social media—just let us know if you’d rather keep things private.

​

Legal & Safety

Are you insured?
Yes! We carry full liability insurance and can provide a certificate upon request. We’re happy to send it along if your venue or organization requires it.
